What is Manila Oak?

Manila Oak is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor built around a rich honey tan color, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Manila Oak handles pet accidents, water-bowl spills, and tracked-in mud wiped up promptly without swelling. Clean up standing water quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The construction includes a 20 mil wear layer — about 0.51 mm — suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, offering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers in everyday durability.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Manila Oak's 20 mil wear layer and finish resist scratching and scuffing over years of use. It wipes clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner and a damp mop, and keeps the printed grain reading consistent across the floor.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close the Manila Oak plank shows a mostly straight grain that runs in long, clean lines down the board, with a soft cathedral figure swirling up here and there to break the pattern. Small tight knots sit sparsely across the surface, enough to read as natural and never crowded. Faint fine saw lines cross the grain, giving the print a lightly milled look, and a gentle swirl of figure adds a little movement without any heavy character marks. It is a calm, orderly surface with just enough grain interest to keep it from looking uniform.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Manila Oak's factory-attached acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Manila Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?
