What is Grandure Oak?

Grandure Oak is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor built around a mellow taupe-brown color, with a heavy-duty, high-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. A splash at the sink or a dropped glass wipes up without harming Grandure Oak when cleaned promptly; don't leave water standing. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Grandure Oak features a 30 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.76 mm — well suited to heavy residential use and many commercial applications, offering exceptional protection against scratches, scuffs, and everyday wear. A notably thick, hard-wearing surface for its class.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Grandure Oak has a 30 mil protective layer — thicker than the thin wear layers on entry-level LVT. That's the physical protective film above the print, sealed by finish.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the Grandure Oak plank shows an open cathedral grain with strong figure and clear board-to-board variation. Weathered character marks and fine splits run across the surface, and dark mineral streaking traces the grain lines for a rustic, well-worn feel. Knots are sparse and small, so the character comes mostly from the streaking and the split marks rather than heavy knotting. Because the figure changes so much from plank to plank, no two boards look quite the same across the floor. The wood-grain print has genuine depth to it, not a flat or uniform sameness underfoot.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Grandure Oak is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Grandure Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

Under the soft midday daylight coming through the windows, Grandure Oak warms up and its taupe-brown reads clearly without turning heavy. The warm-grey cast keeps it from feeling orange, so it stays neutral against greige walls and cooler grey tones. Bright natural light lifts the mid-tone rather than washing it out, which is why it keeps its warmth through the middle of the day. Pair Grandure Oak with soft whites and muted greys and the room stays calm; add a warmer accent and it leans cozy. In a lower-light room it deepens a little and reads more brown than grey.
