What is Twilight Oak?

Twilight Oak is a wood-look WPC floor in a greyed taupe-brown shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a durable, easy-care finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Built for daily life: mop-and-go cleaning, occasional spills, and pet accidents wiped up promptly; clean standing water quickly. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Twilight Oak has a 20 mil wear layer — approximately 0.51 mm — made for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, providing excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers in everyday durability.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Office chair wheels, spike-heel point loads, and dragged furniture all concentrate force. Twilight Oak's 20 mil wear layer plus 8mm rigid WPC core manages this better than laminate — WPC resists crush-indent where laminate high-density fiberboard would dent permanently.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the Twilight Oak surface is all long, open grain — pronounced figure and open pore streaks that run the length of the board and draw the eye down its length. The figure changes noticeably plank to plank, so a floor of it never falls into a repeating pattern. A few small knots turn up here and there, sparse enough to read as quiet character rather than rustic knotting. It is a printed surface over the WPC core, and the print keeps that open-grain detail crisp across every plank.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Twilight Oak is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Twilight Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

Twilight Oak takes its cue from the light around it. In this living room, with many windows and soft morning daylight, it lifts to its airiest — the greyed side reads clean and cool while the warm undertone stops it short of feeling cold. As the day moves on and the light warms, the taupe in Twilight Oak comes up a little and the floor reads softer. It sits easily against soft white walls and pale grey furnishings, and works just as well with cooler blues and greens as with warm creams — a genuinely flexible neutral for a bright room.
