Arvon Oak is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor in a medium brown tone, with a durable, heavy-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. The rigid core stands up to everyday surface water — spills, mop water, pet accidents — without swelling or delaminating when wiped up promptly. It won't substitute for fixing a standing leak; dry the floor and the source quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; keep the subfloor dry before and during install.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Arvon Oak has a 20 mil wear layer — measuring about 0.51 mm — intended for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, offering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers in everyday durability.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Minor scratches on Arvon Oak stay low-visibility — faint surface marks rather than the bright white scuff lines a glossy floor shows. The 20 mil wear layer hides minor wear within the printed grain pattern — low visibility, not just high durability.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, each Arvon Oak plank is built around a single swirling cathedral eye at its center, where the grain arcs into a soft peak. To either side the lines run tight and straight, giving the surface a quiet, orderly rhythm. A few pin knots show up across the field, small and sparse and dark enough to read as character without crowding the plank. The printed surface repeats this detail consistently plank to plank, so Arvon Oak looks even and intentional across a full room.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The attached acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Arvon Oak is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Arvon Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.
