What is Mockingbird?

Mockingbird is a rigid, wood-look SPC floor in a warm honey-brown tone, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Stable against concrete-slab humidity and seasonal moisture variation, so Mockingbird suits below-grade rooms once the slab passes a moisture test; clean up standing water promptly. Not approved for outdoor installation.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The flooring uses a 20 mil wear layer — which works out to 0.51 mm — well suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, giving you excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. That's a step above the standard-duty wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

At 20 mil, Mockingbird's wear layer sits on the thicker end for residential flooring, which is why it stands up well to heavy day-to-day use. The 6mm construction gives it a solid, stable feel underfoot in busy rooms.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, Mockingbird's grain is soft and flowing - long cathedral sweeps run gently down each board with little abrupt contrast. A scatter of pin knots and faint mineral streaks adds quiet, natural detail, and the board-to-board variation stays gentle. The printed surface reads smooth and honeyed, its warmth as much in the color as in the easy figure.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The 1mm acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Mockingbird is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.
