What is Eyre?

Eyre is a rigid, wood-look SPC floor in a mellow golden-cast warm light brown shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical space.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. A splash at the sink or a dropped glass wipes up without harming Eyre when cleaned promptly; don't leave water standing. Indoor use only — outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The surface of Eyre is finished with a 20 mil wear layer — approximately 0.50 mm — suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, with excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It's a common step-up in wear-layer thickness, where the extra protection starts to matter.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Eyre has a 20 mil protective layer — thicker than the roughly 12-mil mid-tier and 6-mil entry-level LVT wear layers. That's the physical protective film above the print, sealed by UV-cured ceramic bead (EnduraPro) finish.

What does the plank surface look like?

Each Eyre plank shows a straight grain broken by a gentle wavy figure, subtle ribbon striping, and no knots across a smooth printed surface. The character is low and the board-to-board variation gentle, so the planks lay down with a soft, even calm that keeps the mellow golden tone reading natural rather than busy.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

The IXPE antimicrobial sound-deadening acoustic layer damps the hollow "click" sound characteristic of floating floors. Eyre is quieter underfoot than LVT with a loose pad — both for the walker and for rooms below in multi-story homes.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Eyre carries FloorScore, GREENGUARD Gold certifications, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?
