Baywood Oak is a rigid, wood-look WPC floor built around a gentle greige taupe-brown color, with a durable, heavy-traffic wear layer for a low-maintenance, practical finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Powder-room splashes, daily wet feet, and towel drops wipe up without harm when cleaned promptly. Indoor use only — not for installation inside showers or wet rooms, and outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Baywood Oak is protected by a 20 mil wear layer — about 0.51 mm — intended for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, offering excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Kitchen stress test: dropped cutlery, pans slid from oven to counter, refrigerator casters, and dishwasher spray — Baywood Oak's 20 mil wear layer and finish handle the spills, dropped pots, and dragged stools of daily kitchen use, and wipe clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close the Baywood Oak plank shows fine, straight striping along the length of the board, with a soft cathedral figure that shifts gently from one plank to the next. Knots are sparse and small, and you might spot a single one near a lower board edge, so the surface stays clean and even rather than rustic. The printed surface shows enough fine detail to read convincingly underfoot, and the mid-depth taupe-brown holds just enough variation to keep long runs from looking uniform.
