Can I install this collection over radiant heat?

Yes, the Pacific Oak Collection is compatible with hydronic and embedded radiant heat systems, as long as the floor’s surface temperature never exceeds 85°F.

Can I install these planks myself?

Most homeowners can. It’s a floating, angle-drop click-lock floor with no glue or nails — start left to right and stagger end joints by at least 6″. The subfloor needs to be clean, dry, and flat within 3/16″ over 10 ft before you begin.

Do I need a moisture barrier over a concrete subfloor?

Yes, a 6-mil poly vapor barrier is mandatory over concrete for every installation of this collection, regardless of grade level.
