The Platinum Collection is Republic Floor’s AC4-rated, water-resistant laminate line, built on a 12.3mm laminate core for a solid, quiet underfoot feel. Each plank measures 5.5″ x 47.8125″ and locks together with a V-Groove angle-drop click-lock system for a tight, secure floor field; the core does not ship with an attached pad, so installation calls for a separate compatible foam underlayment plus a vapor barrier over concrete subfloors. Color names like Brazilian Tigerwood and Natural Acacia describe the printed wood-look pattern — this is laminate, not a real hardwood species. Four colors span blonde through medium brown tones, and the collection carries a 30-Year Residential warranty, the longest residential term in the Republic Floor lineup.
