Colors in the Seaside collection

Seaside carries GemCore’s most varied laminate palette: Bethany and Pompano are pale, very light beiges; Grayton and Seabrook are light blonde; Asbury, Cape May, Delray, and Holden sit in a light-medium beige and brown range; and Myrtle and Topsail are the collection’s two rustic multi-tone shades, for a room that wants more visual texture.

Best uses for Seaside

  • High-traffic living areas — the 12mm waterproof laminate core and AC4-rated surface are built for a busy main-level room.
  • Kitchens, laundry rooms & other spill-prone spaces — the waterproof core is rated for spills as long as standing water doesn’t sit; avoid flooding or leaving liquid pooled on the surface.
  • Households with pets — the scratch-resistant AC4 surface stands up to claw traffic better than an unfinished or lower-rated laminate.
  • Bright, sunlit rooms wanting a pale palette — Bethany and Pompano’s very light beige give Seaside two of the palest options across all of GemCore’s collections.
  • Rooms wanting more visual texture — Myrtle and Topsail’s rustic multi-tone patterns hide everyday wear better than a uniform single-tone board.

Choosing a color from the Seaside collection

Bethany and Pompano’s very pale beige open up a smaller room or one with limited natural light, while Grayton and Seabrook’s blonde and the deeper Asbury, Cape May, Delray, and Holden tones carry better in a bright, sunlit space. Myrtle and Topsail’s rustic multi-tone patterns are a good fit for a busy family room where hiding everyday wear matters more than a uniform surface. Frequently asked questions about the Seaside collection

Is Seaside actually waterproof, or just water-resistant?
Seaside is built as a waterproof laminate — the core is rated for spills and busy rooms. That said, avoid flooding the floor or letting standing liquid sit, and wipe up spills immediately.
Can I clean Seaside with a steam mop?
Residential steam mops are allowed on the lowest power setting with a soft pad, never held on one spot longer than a minute. For everyday cleaning, use a damp mop with a laminate cleaner applied by spray rather than poured.
Can I install Seaside myself?
Seaside clicks together as a floating floor with GemCore’s angle-snap system, which is DIY-friendly. The subfloor must be fully dry with any construction dampness resolved, and the room’s HVAC should be running for at least 7 days before installation.
How much Seaside do I need to order?
Each carton covers 23.14 sq ft. Measure your room and add a standard overage for cuts and waste before ordering.
