Colors in the Sapphire collection

Sapphire’s 6 colors stay in a warm beige and brown palette — Anderson, Parkway, and Riverton lean lighter, Madison and Quinn run a shade deeper, and Mitchell is the collection’s rustic multi-tone brown for a room that wants more variation.

Best uses for Sapphire

  • Wide open-concept rooms — the 9″-wide, 72″-long board shows fewer seams across a large room than a narrower plank.
  • Kitchens & baths — the waterproof stone-composite core and pre-attached pad handle spills without extra underlayment.
  • Busy households with kids or pets — a dry-sweep-and-damp-mop routine keeps grit from abrading the wear layer.
  • Basements & below-grade rooms — the stone-composite core resists the humidity swings that affect solid wood; follow the install guide’s moisture-barrier requirement.
  • Rental turnovers — the floating click install goes down without glue or long cure times between tenants.

Choosing a color from the Sapphire collection

Anderson, Parkway, and Riverton’s lighter beige tones open up a room with limited natural light, while Madison and Quinn’s deeper brown carries well in a sunlit space without washing out. Mitchell’s rustic multi-tone pattern is a good fit for a busy room where hiding everyday wear matters more than a uniform look. Frequently asked questions about the Sapphire collection

How wide is the Sapphire plank compared to GemCore’s other SPC lines?
Sapphire’s 9″ × 72″/72.5″ board is one of GemCore’s widest and longest SPC formats, alongside Crystal and Diamond’s 9″ × 60″ board and Jasper’s 9″ × 73″ board.
Do I need a separate underlayment for Sapphire?
No — Sapphire ships with a 1mm IXPE pad pre-attached to each plank, so no additional underlayment is required for a floating install.
Can I install Sapphire myself?
Sapphire clicks together as a floating floor with UniClic angle-angle or tap-down locking, which is DIY-friendly on a clean, flat, structurally sound, permanently dry subfloor with a 6-mil poly-film moisture barrier.
How much Sapphire do I need to order?
Each carton covers 22.6 sq ft. Measure your room and add a standard overage for cuts and waste before ordering.
