Vila Do Conde (Herringbone) — Engineered Hardwood, 9/16″ (Amazon Wood Floors)
Vila Do Conde (Herringbone) brings the same Sapele (African Mahogany) species as the standard-plank Vila Do Conde into a dedicated 4-3/4″ × 24″ herringbone-format plank — 9/16″ total thickness with a 3mm wear layer, milled tongue-and-groove and installable by glue-down, staple/nail-down, or floating. Four colors span a red-brown through rustic multi-tone to near-black ebony. Every plank is CARB Phase 2 compliant with a German E-1 adhesive, backed by a 25-Year Residential Finish Warranty, 5-Year Light Commercial Finish Warranty, and Lifetime Structural Warranty. Available to order through our Santa Clara showroom.

Colors in the Vila Do Conde (Herringbone)
Natural is the lightest, a rustic multi-tone that shows the most grain variation; Caramelo sits in a warm red-brown range; Pimenta Preta and Ebano both move into a near-black, deep ebony family. The same four color concepts as the standard-plank Vila Do Conde, reworked for the herringbone format.
Best uses for Vila Do Conde (Herringbone)
- Entryways and formal living rooms — the classic herringbone pattern reads as a deliberate design statement.
- Concrete-slab or plywood subfloors — glue-down, staple/nail-down, or floating all apply.
- A darker, dramatic floor — Ebano and Pimenta Preta suit buyers wanting a near-black statement pattern.
- Light-commercial spaces — the 5-Year Light Commercial Finish Warranty extends coverage beyond residential use.
Choosing a color from the Vila Do Conde (Herringbone)
A herringbone floor already reads as a focal point, so a lighter color like Natural lets the pattern itself carry the room without adding visual weight, while Ebano or Pimenta Preta pushes it toward a bold, formal statement. Bring a sample home or compare it under your own lighting at our Santa Clara showroom, where we can also confirm dye lots across a full order.
