What is Lagoon?

Lagoon is a rigid, wood-look SPC floor built around a gentle blonde color, with a durable, heavy-traffic wear layer for a simple, carefree finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Everyday spills, pet accidents, and mop water won't swell, warp, or delaminate the planks when wiped up promptly; standing water should still be cleaned up quickly. Not approved for outdoor installation; test the subfloor for moisture before installing.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

Lagoon is protected by a 20 mil wear layer — roughly 0.51 mm thick — designed for heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, so you get excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. In everyday use, it's a step up from the standard-duty wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Lagoon's 20 mil wear layer and Ultra Clean™ + Ceramic Finish are rated for pet claws, chair legs, dragged furniture, and heavy daily traffic — the scratch resistance that matters in kitchens, entryways, and pet households where foot and paw traffic concentrates.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close the Lagoon plank is led by bold cathedral crowning, tall arching peaks that rise down the middle of each board and give the surface its movement. Around them the grain runs mostly straight, with sparse pin knots dotted here and there and soft feathered figure filling the space between the crowns. Board to board the print shifts just enough that the flooring looks like real planking instead of one repeated image, and the overall face stays clean and uncluttered rather than rustic.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Lagoon's factory-attached 1.5mm IXPE acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Lagoon carries FloorScore, GREENGUARD certifications, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?
