What is Jerome Oak?

Jerome Oak is a waterproof, wood-look WPC floor in a warm mid-brown shade, with a thick, high-traffic wear layer for a durable, easy-care finish.

Is it waterproof?

Yes — 100% waterproof. Powder-room splashes, daily wet feet, and towel drops wipe up without harm when cleaned promptly. Indoor use only — not for installation inside showers or wet rooms, and outdoor installation is not approved.

How durable is it, and what traffic can it take?

The plank features a 20 mil wear layer — about 0.51 mm — suited to heavy residential use and many light-commercial applications, with excellent protection against everyday scratches, scuffs, and abrasion. It runs noticeably thicker than the entry-level wear layers.

Will it hold up to daily life?

Kitchen stress test: dropped cutlery, pans slid from oven to counter, refrigerator casters, and dishwasher spray — Jerome Oak's 20 mil wear layer and finish handle the spills, dropped pots, and dragged stools of daily kitchen use, and wipe clean with a vinyl-safe cleaner.

What does the plank surface look like?

Up close, the Jerome Oak plank shows an open cathedral grain with dense, cross-sawn character marks running the length of each board. Small knots and fine fissures break up the surface, and the figure shifts strongly from board to board, so no two planks repeat. It is a printed surface, and the rough-sawn character marks read rugged and lived-in rather than clean and uniform.

Quiet enough upstairs or in a condo?

There's no separate underlayment to buy and no pad to choose. Jerome Oak's factory-attached acoustic pad comes bonded to every plank and dampens footfall noise throughout the home — one less material decision and one less install step.

Is it safe for indoor air?

Yes — Jerome Oak carries GREENGUARD Gold certification, independently tested for low chemical emissions. That matters most for households with allergies, asthma, or young children.

Will this color work in my room?

In its own photographed setting, Jerome Oak sits under cool overhead light with charcoal walls all around, and in the evening that pairing could easily go cold.
