Nouvelle Collection — 3/4" Engineered Oak (Medieval Floors)
The Nouvelle Collection is Medieval Floors’ premium prime-grade engineered hardwood — clean, refined oak with minimal knots and a uniform, elegant grain. At 3/4" it is the thickest floor in the brand: a 4mm sawn oak veneer over a substantial multi-ply engineered core, finished with a durable factory UV lacquer. The generous 8.66" × 87" planks can be nailed, glued, or floated, and because the wear layer is genuine oak it can usually be refinished two or three times. The line carries a Lifetime Structural and 35-Year Residential Wear warranty, and its nine colors are available to order through our Santa Clara showroom.

Colors in the Nouvelle Collection
Nouvelle leans warm and natural. Most of the nine colors are soft light beiges and warm light-brown oaks that feel calm and timeless, with one rustic multi-tone plank for buyers who want more contrast and movement. Because these are Prime-grade boards, the look is clean and consistent — minimal knots, even color, and a refined straight grain — so the floor reads smooth and continuous across a large, open room.
Best uses for the Nouvelle Collection
- Formal living & dining rooms — the clean prime-grade grain suits a refined, put-together look.
- Primary bedrooms — warm, quiet real oak underfoot in a restful space.
- Large open-plan areas — the long 87" planks and uniform grain read continuous across wide floors.
- Modern & transitional interiors — even color and minimal knots keep the look contemporary.
- Long-term homes — the thick core and 4mm veneer mean the floor can be refinished and renewed for decades.
- Hydronic radiant rooms — compatible with warm-water radiant heat within the manufacturer’s limits.
Choosing a color from the Nouvelle Collection
With a warm, mostly light-to-medium palette, the decision is about how much warmth and contrast you want. The light beiges keep a room bright and airy, the warm light browns add cozy natural character, and the rustic multi-tone brings the most visual movement. Prime-grade oak is consistent, so a single sample represents the floor well — but colors still shift under different light, so confirm your choice at our Santa Clara showroom before ordering.
