SPC Technical Notes
Acclimation: 48 hours minimum in the installation room before beginning.
Subfloor: Must be flat within 3/16 inch over 10 feet. Suitable over concrete, plywood, OSB and most existing hard surfaces.
Moisture barrier: 6 mil polyethylene moisture barrier required over all concrete subfloors.
Radiant heat: Compatible up to 90°F. Always follow manufacturer guidelines.
Installation: Floating Uniclic click-lock. No glue or nails required.
Maintenance: Sweep or vacuum regularly. Damp mop with pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid steam mops.
